I had the privilege of starting to teach during my master’s degree, where I served as a teaching assistant for several undergraduate courses and invested in pedagogical training through the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning Network. I have also facilitated discussions on cultural studies topics among residents of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, taught Advanced Placement world and European history and composition at a secondary school on the grounds of a Benedictine monastery, and worked as an English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor for adults from around the world at a language school in Washington, D.C.
I am always interested in new opportunities to teach and improve as an educator.
